I am really impressed with the progress on our Hunger Games Opera! Thank you for your help. Please continue to help your child practice his/her part. EVERYONE has an important role. If you child has a speaking part or a solo, they need to have all lines memorized. Spoken lines should be delivered VERY, V E R Y, sllllooooooooowwwwwwwwllly, with as much enunciation and expression as possible. Speaking lines need to include dramatic pauses. All students should have song tempos and lyrics memorized as well.

In addition, please plan an appropriate costume for your child’s role. We are supplying most props, but if you need help getting/finding/preparing something, please let us know ASAP.
